Starting your own business is challenging. Start-up costs, long hours and new responsibilities are just some of the obstacles entrepreneurs have to deal with. Precious, also known as Lolo, tackled all these challenges head-on to improve her life.

Thanks to Absa who aims to empower young people to find employment or create their own, Lolo acquired the skills she needed to start her new business.

Through an introduction facilitated by Absa, the National Association of Child and Youth Care Workers (NACCW) collaborated with Technoserve, on the Isibindi project, an income generation programme that provides enterprise development skills training to learners.

Lolo, the young woman we profiled in the first Prosper film, is a beneficiary of this programme and this film beautifully depicts that when the communities where we live and work thrive, so do we. And when society prospers, we all do.
